EXPERIENCE
SUSTAINING ENGINEER PRESENT
Responsibilities: Solve product performance issues related to their design and product life cycles. Manage Engineering changes to products. Provide Mechanical product design support on cost reduction. Participate in sample and prototype assembly of engineered products. Knowledge in FMEA and problem-solving tactics in the context of functional reliability and Engineering testing. Ability to generate medium complexity validation Ability
to apply and read GD&T. Create and modify production Bills of Material and supporting component and assembly documentation. Assists in the evaluation and generation of projects for product improvement and cost reductions. Participates, leads and contributes in VA/VE analysis. Achievements: I led and provided mechanical support to productivity projects which saved around 1 million dollars in 2020. I solved issues related with line down, giving short term solutions, like process deviations or material changes, to avoid lose efficiency while long term solution is given. I worked with multidisciplinary team where I learnt quality, sourcing, suppliers, manufacturing, regulatory and management topics. DESIGN ENGINEER 2018
Responsibilities: Develop a functional and inexpensive all terrain vehicle. Apply design and manufacturing methodologies for the development and innovation of vehicle systems and components. Repair maintain and upgrade unsprung mass system. Use computational tools for design and analysis. Plan manufacturing and testing process to validate competition car components. Get and maintain sponsors.
Achievements: I led the break and unsprung mass system. I created a standard procedure to design the brake and unsprang mass system for UNAM competition team. I reduced cost and weight in components using alternate material and better manufacturing process. I solved problems related with the performance of the vehicle during the race, improvising fast and lasting solutions when any component of the car got broken.
AUTOMOBILE MECHANIC 5 2012
Responsibilities: Inspect vehicle mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately. Repair maintain and upgrade vehicle systems. Conduct routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity and schedule future maintenance sessions. Advise motorists on good vehicle use. Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues. Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job. Maintain equipment and tools in good condition. Achievements: I developed a manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination. I got well-versed in complex mechanical systems. I settled excellent problem-solving abilities. I skilled in use of machinery, process, and tools knowledge. I acquired the ability for customer service and negotiation. I learnt to weld.
