CARRER OBJECTIVE:

To obtain a position as a Data Center Facilities Engineer where I can utilize my skills and experience in building operations, troubleshooting and repairing for all facilities system, and provide total customer satisfaction.

WORK EXPERIENCE SYSTEM:

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:

Conduct diesel generator no load test.

Troubleshooting of electrical control wiring

Instrumental in proper assured ground & Neutral testing.

HT, Transformer, DRUPS, LT, ACDB, SSB all DB checking and troubleshooting.

Change over current from electrical board to diesel generator.

Faulty Lighting replacement and experienced with LPS (Lightning protection system)

Daily UPS and UPS battery checking

ACMV (HVAC):

Chiller, cooling tower, CRAU, AHU, FCU, MV Fan, (Operation, Maintenance & Troubleshooting),

Troubleshooting of DDC control wiring and material replacement.

BTU Meter, Sensor, motor valve, VSD, VAV, VFD, VRV by monitoring & problem rectified.

FIRE ALARM SYSTEM:

Very good knowledge in NFPA standards regarding fire alarm system.

Very good experience in servicing & maintenance, troubleshooting and testing

of the ELV system (fire alarm system, Pre-action, Wet system, WLDS and VESDA.)

Handled 2 types Fire panel (addressable, Conventional panel)

Conduct monthly fire alarm activation test and generate trouble device report.

ACS (ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM):

Very good experience in operation, troubleshooting, testing and installation of the access control system.

Generate monthly access card event report.

Registers and provides badge to new employees, visitors, or staff visiting facility (access card is activated and deactivated).

CCTV (CLOSED CIRCUIT TELEVISION):

Very good experience in in operation, troubleshooting, testing and installation of CCTV (Digital and IP Camera).

Installation: Dome, PTZ, IR, Housing Camera.

Handle quarterly backup for recording to external hard disk

PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM:

Public Address System is located in the BMS room and speakers are

located in all zones,

PA (Master controller, Amplifier and Speaker) troubleshooting & installation.

EMS (Environmental Management System)

Room sensor is monitoring, troubleshoot and report of customer.

Individual Breaker is monitoring, troubleshoot and report of PDU

Monthly report sends to individual customer also prepare the audit document.

Network switch and fiber cable is monitoring of customer.

Escalation to individual customer as per SLA

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Completes maintenance and repair records as required.

Daily operation & monitoring of all facility equipment such as Feeders, Transformers, Generators, Fuel Systems, Switchgear, UPS systems, Battery banks, ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units, Chillers, Air handling units, CRAC units, Fire Alarm systems, and Fire Suppression systems, water pumps, DI water system, Domestic water tank, etc.

Ensure that the FOC is monitored and manned at all times and that PQMS, Chiller, and Fire System alarms are responded to in a timely manner.

Daily site checking and logging of parameters and on-line monitoring of the monitoring system, including the dry cabinet, waste water management systems, etc

Carry out maintenance works in accordance to maintenance schedule

Administer, inspect and monitor all preventive maintenance and ad-hoc work

Maintain and upkeep all documents, records and reports of the building

Trouble-shooting on facility systems

Adherence to all quality, health & safety, and environmental policies within the CE domain.

Coordinate ongoing maintenance and Critical Environment (CE) activities within the Data Centres.

All subcontractors are allowed to operate in CE field and are allowed Review subcontractor method statements, risk assessments and material safety data sheet (MSDS) will be reviewed to ensure compliance with the site health and safety and operational procedures

Review and analyse maintenance problem with engineers and take necessary corrective action

Assists with installation and modification works

Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include: ACMV, electrical, fire and plumbing systems and equipment.

Inspects new installation for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Maintains lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.

Maintains grounds of facility or property

Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.

Performs administrative duties diligently.

Fully conversant with the Emergency Response Plan, CE EOPs, and act as the FOC liaison with the SOC during site emergencies.

Complete scheduled PMs and ensure all other CE Technicians carry out their scheduled PMs in a timely manner.

Update and log all activities and time on CMMS.

Issue a daily Shift Handover report via email detailing activities and issues that have taken place and that require escalation.

Attend and minute the CE weekly planning meeting. Circulate minutes to the CE Team on the same day.

Provide input into and develop site specific procedures including EOPs, SOP.

Carry out annual appraisals for all your team as tasked by management.

Carry out Toolbox talks once every shift rotation.

Complete a minimum of 1 drill per month with at least one drill involving the CE Day team and/or Security team.

Ensure that the FOC, library, and FAC Workshop are clean and tidy at all times.

Be fully familiar with site escalation procedures as per SLA and the Abnormal Incident Reporting (AIR) process.
