Additional responsibilities in the jobsite include jobsite safety inspections, safety audits and employee observations, hazard recognition, evaluation and control, hazardous materials management, health hazard control, fire protection and prevention, safety training and education, first aid administration, accident/incident investigation, reporting and recordkeeping. Assisted in prequalifying contractors and approving their site-specific safety plans. EDUCATION, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Texas State Technical College- Associate of Applied Science Degree in Environmental Health and Safety Compliance.
• Continuous Outreach Program University of Arlington - OSHA 500 Instructor Course according to 29CFR Part 1926 Construction Industry.
• Sunbelt Train-the-Trainer – Aerial Lifts (boom & scissor lift)
• Other Certifications: Lead Awareness; Silica Awareness; Qualified Rigger/Flagger Level 1; Scaffold Competent Person; 8 Hr. Trenching and Excavation; Speed Shore Competent Person; Adult CPR/AED and Standard First Aid
