Project Description: The PAEW wishes to execute the whole scope of work described below in three Phases, with early completion of the section from Bawsher to Ghala as Phase 1, and Ghala to Airport reservoir connection as Phase 2. In both cases the Phases include construction of the relevant reservoir connections and isolating valves so that PAEW may take over and operate the completed sections

The Bawsher to Seeb Water Transmission System comprises the following principal components:

Laying of DN 1600 Carbon Steel pipes of approximate length 29,200 m.

7Nr cross connections of varying sizes to all the off-take pipelines from existing DN 1000 transmission main leading to following compounds including connecting pipes (either Carbon Steel or DI, as detailed in the drawings and BOQ) and valves including motor operated valves.

Project responsibility: Responsible for supervision of 1600mm dia CS pipe laying to buried the ground level including with Bedding and surrounding and backfilling.

As well as responsible for the route alignment, Shop drawing checking MAS review and weekly plan checking.

Find out the welding Quality through Radiographic and ultrasonic test welding of joints, Internal coating and External coating.

Hydro test for welded and throw out full length of pipe as per the project specification.

Flushing and disinfection for the pipeline as per project specification.

Monitoring the Trenchless road crossing and wadi crossing and construction of flow meter chambers, valve chambers, compound pipe works.
