Developed and tested Simulink models of Vehicle dynamics, useful for converting an IC engine vehicle to electric vehicle(EV). Simulink model for dynamics of the vehicle is developed to obtain Power and Speed performance, based on which an equivalent battery module simulated. Drive cycle data of similar EV battery pack is used for testing model performance. Tools/Skills acquired: Advance level MATLAB/Simulink, Simscape/ powertrain toolbox, basic Machine learning concepts.

Modified an already existing embedded C-code for BTS (battery test system)/BMS (Battery management systems) for executing additional features proposed by customer. Developed code using STM32 and SPC studio, debugged and tested it on real-time BMS/BTS system using CAN bus. Developed a novel method for Arc-Flash detection using IoT sensors for EEHM (Electrical Equipment Health Monitoring).

Studded the causes and effects of Arc Flashing Phenomenon in Electrical equipment as well as in aircraft systems. Studded various IoT sensors used in the field of EEHM and market-based systems used for Arc Flash detection.

Tested various optical, colour, temperature and pressure sensors as well Smart evaluation boards like AMS- AS7265x, Rohm sensor-shield-EVK-003, etc in simulated test environment. Analysed sensor performances to design a prognostic prototype of multiple sensing elements which is best suited for Electric Equipment failures in vehicles/ Aircrafts.

Skills/tools acquired: Python codding for embedded environment, hands on experience with Arduino Uno and Raspberry pi for MEMS Sensor interfacing.

Academic Project (B.E.) - Automation of Thermostat Calibration Testing Systems Jun’15-Mar’16 (1 year)

Automated the thermostat calibration end of line testing process for thermostat supplier.

Designed setup using temperature sensor and interfacing circuitry, AVR Micro-controller ATMega8535, LCD Display.
