Senior Design Project (Sub Team Lead)August 2017 - June 2018

●Designed an autonomous robot vehicle according to the guidelines on http://www.igvc.org/rules.htm

●Part of the mechanical sub team that was in charge of building the actual robot and integrated the drive system as well as the electrical components and the software system of the robot

●Did failure testing on the structure as well as electrical and software testing as a team.

Solid Modeling Design Project (Group) May 2015

●Used the Solidworks software to design a robotic arm.

●Arm design was to have different ranges of freedom and was to be able to move and perform a simple task like pick up a fork.

Thermal System Design (Team Lead) May 2017

●Designed a system to use heat dissipated by the condenser in a refrigeration cycle to pre-heat water to be heated by a water heater.

●Built a makeshift model of our theoretical idea to carry out the experiment and see how this could be beneficial

●Theoretical idea showed a saving in power consumption to heat the already heated water and thus a saving in money spent by household over a period of time.

Intro to Mechanical Engineering (Group) December 2014

●Designed a pinball machine using Solidworks and PTC Creo.

●Built a working model of our design using only mechanical parts

●Used Arduino to create a score recording system and score display system as well as give the pinball some aesthetics through flashing lights

Graduate school Student Thesis Help September 2016 – December 2016

●Thesis was to show that 3D printed parts were just as effective and more economical than conventional of the shelf pvc parts.
