RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepara$on and Verifica$on of Inspecaon & Test Plans (ITP), Method of Statements (MOS), IFC drawings, RFI, Test Packages and Handover Documents as per approved standards and client re- quirements.
• Material Receiving Inspec$on of all the electrical items as per the area classifica$on, ITP and client’s material approval document.
• Inspec$ons of all construc$on ac$vi$es to ensure all the works are carried out as per approved engineering standards.
• Maintaining RFI documents, method of statements, Calibra$on cer$ficates for Tes$ng Instruments and Test packages for monthly internal audits and Siemens E&PM audits
• Inspec$on of Gas Insulated Bus (GIB), Isolated Phase Ducts (IPB), Generator Circuit Breaker (GCB), MCCs, MV/LV Panels etc.
• Quality control Inspec$on, Program chart prepara$on & commissioning documenta$on, Review the preven$ve, predic$ve maintenance, Equipment efficiency, Bench marking condi$on monitor- ing of equipment’s, Outage planning, Spares planning, Maintenance of the rota$ng machine& Pressure parts, contracts and outage management, statutory requirements applicable to power supply.
• Inspec$on Tes$ng& Commissioning of Current transformer, poten$al transformer, circuit breaker,HT< motor, Power transformer, all type of numerical relays,Induc$on relays,power ca- bles, bus bars, earth pit, lightening arrester, substa$on panel(HT<),Tan delta Tes$ng for HT Bushes.
• Keeping the files/Inspec$on Records always updated.
• Highligh$ng all discrepancies/anomaly detected during monitoring inspec$on and informing the same to QC – Manager.
• Ini$ate NCR as required in consulta$on with QC – Manager
• Taking immediate remedial to clear inspec$on log book comments
• Submi^ng Daily Report to QC-Manager at the end of each day of work
• Solve responsible for all Quality Control Ac$vi$es for the alloLed area of discipline.
• Verifica$on of materials supplied with that of material issued.
• Verifica$on of proper func$oning & u$liza$on of measuring instruments
• Insula$on Resistance and Con$nuity Test of primary and secondary cables from Junc$on Box to Instrument.
• Inspec$on of electrical ac$vi$es in the plant area such as lightning protec$on, grounding system, ligh$ng layout, power conduc$ng, fire & alarm system etc.
• High voltage and Low voltage Electrical and Equipment installa$on.
• Site surveillance to check the construc$on work and give some comments if necessary according to standard installa$on.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
• Bachelors of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Thangavelu Engineering college, Chennai With an aggregate of 65%.
• Higher Secondary from AKT Academic Matricula$on Higher secondary school, Kallakurichi with an aggregate of 72%.
• SSLC from Ramakrishna Mission Higher secondary school, ChengalpaLu with an aggregate of 73%. ADDITONAL COURSE:
• Completed PG Diploma in Process Engineering from dimensional academy affiliated to Bharathid- hasan university,Chennai.
