I am currently a Junior at Southern New Hampshire University majoring in Communications, my current GPA is 4.0 and I am set to graduate in April of 2022. I am emphasizing in Public Relations and social media marketing.
I started working at the age of 14 where I quickly learned the value of a strong work ethic along with developing great customer service skills. Since then, I have gained 14 years of experience working in various customer service roles that vary from serving and bartending, to working in management as well as a promoter, even experience as a medical assistant. Though my resumes background is mainly in customer service work the bulk of my experience comes working in the performing arts. I started off in dance at the age of 5, then moved into theater which then paved the way for professional companies. I also have experience in television/film, as well as commercials.
My experience working in both career fields has helped me to gain and develop skills crucial to working in a career in communications or marketing. Skills such as being able to really listen, friendliness, emotional and physical awareness “non-verbal communication”, time management, reliability, courtesy, completeness. I also feel comfortable with public speaking, working in a group, as well as being self-motivated and working in interpersonal situations. When it comes to clerical work, I have experience in most computer programs varying from different calendars, emails, accounting sites, Microsoft office, photoshop, adobe, and various editing platforms. Though I may not have the years’ experience other candidates may possess, I am young, eager to learn and grow. I will always give 110% and am a loyal and dedicated employee.
