This system is a hosted virtual environment provided by using Datrium DVX hardware and utilizing the VMware ESXi software for virtualization. Supported Satcom leased circuits with SCPC or iDirect systems and leased line circuits, which are also validated and tested for their QoS, to meet the customer's requirements.

Validated each circuit’s capacity and throughput capability with IXIA IxChariot QOS testing extensively before DoS acceptance.

Served as the Sr. technical engineer for projects in Iraq, including VSaT, Microwave, and other WAN/LAN topologies.

Redesigned and rebuilt the DoS Baghdad New Embassy Compound (NEC) network while in Iraq.

Replaced older 2900 with 3750 Cisco stacked switches and deployed 12 Bluecoat Proxy servers with Cisco ASA 5510 firewalls.

Implemented the WiFi architecture for the areas in the DoS using 2600 Cisco Aironet products.

Troubleshoot very complicated satellite earth stations, failed transceivers and satellite modems, Microwave systems, and several different inter-agency IP networks, all with fiber-based infrastructure and copper.
