ACADEMIC PROJECTS
SIX SIGMA engineering projects on Manufacturing – Wayne State University May 2017 – Aug 2017
Project objective to maximize the net profit of “Fasteners Manufacturing Company”.
Used MRP Tool to determine the production batch size and overtime.
Identified the Root cause of defect by using fishbone diagram and implemented corrective action (adding sensor) to alarm displacement of rolling die
Used the minimum inventory system and implemented FIFO to the boost shipping efficiency
Deterministic Optimization Project – Wayne State University Sep 2017 – Dec 2017
Project objective to optimize the expenses to maximize the reach of the campaign for PALTEL.Co. LTD.
Used linear programming model and MS Excel and Solver to solve and optimize the reach.
Observed an increase of 16.8% in the reach of campaign to audiences with no additional costs incurred. Used the created DSS to determine the maximum net profit with minimized inventory cost.
