My early background began in logging and lumber production in a family-owned operation. I took employment in the oilfield in 1990 at entry level with Halliburton, performing oilwell cementing support, and ultimately progressed to operator of a Price-Waterhouse-Cooper designed Excel database in a corporate equipment maintenance setting.

I possess a lifetime of experience in broad and diverse workplaces. I have done physical labor of all kinds, performed in many trade crafts including heavy equipment operation, comprising tracked excavator, tractor backhoe, crawler bulldozer, and crane operation. Additionally, Class 8 truck driving, logging and milling with attendant requisite knowledge and experience. I have operated and overseen pressure pumping/fracturing services in the Rocky Mountain region, from the time of all vertical wells, to the advent of horizontal drilling. I have managed upwards of thirty personnel in adverse field conditions, performed fracturing fluid quality assurance testing, and done it as both hourly and salaried. My latter years of field service with Halliburton were blended to entail site safety inspections, personnel training, and dispute resolution, both internally and between Halliburton and Clients. My direct working experience in the oilfields, plus twenty-five years of interaction with cementing, coil tubing, and down hole tool operations has given me extensive knowledge of well construction and completions.
