Plant Design: Production of Epoxy Fatty Acid Methyl Ester
The production of Epoxy fatty Acid Methyl Ester is done in a group of 4 which involves a review on the product applications, a market survey, synthesis route screening, mass energy balance, conceptual design sizing, HAZOP, and feasibility study of the process for generating a PFD & P&ID. Throughout the project, Aspen Plus, Polymath, Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Excel are being used.
Final Year Project: Effect of Nanocellulose Fibrils (NFC) Filler in Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) composites toward the Thermal and Mechanical properties.
The objective is to study the the effect of nanocellulose fibrils filler in PHA composite toward thermal and mechanical properties. The objective is to synthesis the PHA composite at difference nanocellulose fibril ratio by using polymerization process and investigate tensile property using Universal Testing machine. Throughout the project I have experience in handling a few equipment such as FESEM, DSC, UTM and FTIR.
