Sedating Patients and assisting Anesthesia MD’s during Line Placement. Includes Arterial lines, Central Venous Catheters, Swan Ganz, and Nerve Blocks.

Preoperative Procedure and Checklist Verification, meeting SCIP Requirements, and sedation when ordered.

Post Anesthesia Recovery Drips including Fentanyl, Levophed, Precedex, Cardene, Cardizem, Heparin, Milrinone, Ativan, Dilaudid, and Morphine, PCA Pump Management on Both Braun and Alaris as well as complicated pain management. Post-Operative Nausea and Vomiting management. ERAS Protocols.

Recovering CABG Patients direct from OR, with or without balloon pump. Hemodynamic Monitoring with Flotrak and Vigilance. Assessing for AFIB risk and intervention, working very closely with CTS for early ID of issues and best outcomes.

Hospice Care

Targeted Temperature Management (Code Ice)

Critical Care Drip implementation and maintenance (Levophed, Vasopressin, Epinephrine, Esmolol, Nitroglycerin, Anti-Arrythmics, Lidocaine, and others)

TAVR/Vascular/Thoracic Post op patients with Chest tubes and/or array of drain morphology)

Prone Therapy with RotoProne bed

ECMO trained

Working frequently in COVID ICU since March 2020

Consistently handled 6-8 patients per shift, chronically ill with acute complications. Coordinated care with family, physicians, social work, management, and patient care assistants.
