SBI is an application developed on IBM mainframe platform using COBOL, JCL, FILE MANAGER, IMS etc. It involves core and sensitive banking business logic for daily parts of banking. Work demands to run a batch to update the online database and to fix the daily production issues. collaborated with users and business team members to define and develop new concepts for a daily smooth running of the batch. Participated in the enhancement team to add the new features to the existing bank application during demonetization. Used vision plus routines in all online and batch codes. worked with the First Data surround development team during the migration of SBI projects. Responsible for generating/managing/printing/dispatching daily credit reports.

TRANSACTION REPORT

Application was developed to generate the transaction report on the basis of daily, weekly, monthly and on balance and also on account details.

It involves accessing data from transaction tables using CURSORS. Option was given to use to extract what time of report to be generated. Based on the used input, a corresponding cursor was used to extract data from the respective table and the generated report was displayed on the console for user review.
