Description:

Harley-Davidson uses business intelligence and related tools for daily operational as well as strategic reporting. Business intelligence solution also help end users in planning and forecasting. The business objective of the project is to serve the reporting and data management needs of the organization at various levels to enhance organizational capabilities and gain deeper insights into process of manufacturing, finance, procurement, orders, shipments, etc.

This project involves solving user incidents and service requests, implementing enhancements, problem management, ensuring Business intelligence applications are performing efficiently and with minimal downtime. There are various Service Level Agreements defined for this project which the team needs to adhere to and report all metrics to senior management on regular basis. It also includes upgrade of technology platform of these applications to newer versions or modernizing the same providing better functionality, performance, lower costs, and scalability.

Role and Responsibilities:

Supporting the Enterprise Data Warehouse(EDW) applications which loads daily business data into the warehouse for daily business reports

Monitor incident queues, assign incidents to teams, assist with incident issues raised in Service Now Tool.

Handle service interruption calls, coordinate with dependent teams for P1 issues resolution.

Understanding and translating business requirements into innovative technical solutions. Design, implement, and operate stable, scalable, low cost solutions to flow data from production systems into the Data Warehouse and into end-user facing reporting applications.
