Amy’s Drive Thru September ****-January 2021

●Front of House employee, Back of House employee, and presently a cross-trained employee for both Front of House and Back of House.

●Front of House includes but is not limited to, taking orders (POS), running orders, working expo, handling drive thru orders, working headset, packaging food, making shakes, and keeping the store stocked.

●Back of house includes but is not limited to, preparing the food, cooking the food, avoiding cross contaminations with common allergies (celiac, vegan, vegetarian, soy), and cleaning the grills.

●Cross-trained employee works both FOH and BOH. They are capable of working every position at the restaurant at a sufficient enough speed to keep up during a rush at one or more stations. Additionally, they able to close and open the entire store.

●Barista includes working the POS system, taking orders, addressing customers questions and concerns. I also am in charge of answering phone calls and addressing any problems/find solutions via phone. Additionally I perform tasks as a barista such as making smoothies, fresh pressed juices, and acai bowls.

Volunteer experience

My volunteer experience begins in high school working with rotary and participating/organizing beach cleans ups and forest restoration (such as removing litter and old fencing). Additionally we worked with the community to organize can food drives and fundraisers for non profits. After high school and during college I spent a month in Australia volunteering with sea turtles in the Great Barrier Reef. I worked with a non profit called Oceans2Earth where I worked with rehabilitation injured and sick sea turtles.
