• Worked with CNC machine to fabricate many types of tools and machines.
• Supervised a team of 10 people to work on CNCs for manufacturing machine tools. PROJECT AND RESEARCH DEPARTMENT:
BAJA SAE ATV Car
• Designed through CAD and fabricated a BAJA SAE ATV car with Elite Techno Groups, Pune.
• A team of 15 people were divided to work on different aspects of the car.
• As the captain of the chassis team, assisted and worked on building the car chassis with the team. Pin on Disc Wear Test
• Pin on Disc type wear test was carried out to find the wear and tear of the substrate element coated with Chromium Carbide.
• A coating of Chromium carbide was prepared and applied to the substrate and then heat treated at 900 degrees Celsius.
• Later, dry friction and sliding wear tests were performed to learn about the wear and tear behavior of the coated specimen.
• Weight of different specimen was taken to get the readings of the wear and tear of the coating.
• Presented a poster for it in NMD-ATM 2017 at BITS-PILANI, Goa. Study of Hot Corrosion Behavior in Boiler Plants
• The project helped me study and improve the corrosion resistance of the surface material of Boiler Plants.
• Some coated and non-coated substrate elements were prepared.
• They were then put inside a live boiler to get the readings of their corrosion behavior in the actual boiler conditions.
• Different readings were carried to learn more about the corrosion behavior of the coated and non-coated substrate elements.
• Scored highest marks in class for this project in my final semester of B. Tech. PROFICIENCY IN LANGUAGES:
• English
• Hindi
EXTRA-CURRICULAR:
• Current BAJA SAE member of NJIT HIGHLANDER RACING team.
• Active ASME member at large.
• Active member of All India Welfare Society – AIWS.
• Ex – member of SAE, INDIA.
• Ex – member of GIT BAJA team.
• Ex head coordinator of dance team of Global Institute of Technology.
