Roles & Responsibilities:

Managing around 120+ PostgreSQL databases, day-to-day activities with heaviest database size as 1 TB and lowest as 2 GB.

Prime responsibility includes first line support of PostgreSQL databases requests and tickets.

Documentation all the technical documents related to PostgreSQL DBA activities.

Installation and Configuration of PostgreSQL and EnterpriseDB Advanced server (10 to 12).

Moving objects between tablespace in PostgreSQL.

Scripting of new tables, views and modifications as well as Data Types, Constraints, Pl/PgSQL Stored Procedures, Functions and Triggers.

Monitored and managed the client connectivity using pg_hba.conf files.

Check Log errors and make necessary actions to rectify them.
