Responsible for the safe operation of the processing plant, equipment and ensure that process related targets are achieved. The plant consists of a primary jaw crusher, SAG and Ball Mill, pre-leach thickener, Carbon-In-Leach (CIL) and gravity concentrator circuit.

Ensuring the effective recovery of gold from ore processed whilst minimizing costs.

Monitoring the process with sampling procedures to ensure targeted metallurgical recoveries are being met.

Metallurgical lab assay results analysis. Inorganic and analytical lab tests.

The operation of the processing plant in accordance to process parameters, control limits and in accordance with documented safe work procedures.

Contributing to the development of safe working procedures.

Undertaking hazard analysis, ensuring all accidents and incidents are reported.

Compiling production data as required.

Participating in prestart meetings and monthly safety meetings, identifying hence reporting maintenance requirements for plant and equipment through the undertaking of workplace inspections.

Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping, cleanliness and tidiness around the plant.
