January 2021 – I currently work.
Lean-Agile Expert Advisor / Mentoring management and teams – Logistec Mtl. My role is to facilitate managers to understand "how" to integrate the basics of Agility and to identify the impacts on their role. I accompany teams to define the "why" to develop an Agile state of mind and "how" to improve the current topology of teams, according to their reality and context, to lead them to build up an effective Agile team. My objective is to create a sustainable change within the IT and Business ecosystems by focusing on their collaboration and value creation for customers. My responsibilities consist in integrating a Lean-Agile culture with a particular focus on managing requests and priorities within a multi-customer product portfolio. I coach IT and Business Directors in the creation of their product backlog and epics, and then, I train business analysts in the role of PO and in managing a product backlog for those who aspire to take on this role. July 2018 – I currently work.
Lean-Agile Expert Advisor / Leader for the transformation of the VPIO - IA Financial G. My role is to foster Lean-Agile and SAFe methods, techniques, and tools within the Lean-Agile SAFe & DevOps Center of Expertise (CoE Le.A.S.D.) of the Vice Presidency of Information Technology (VPIT). In collaboration with other coaches, my objectives are to facilitate the means that the CoE Le.A.S.D. develops for the benefit of managers and delivery teams to evolve successfully within a Lean & Agile organization. My responsibilities have led me to develop a cognitive journey training for the PO and the SM, I create a positioning tool to target the level of maturity of the teams to measure their evolution, I set up of community of practice for the directors and for the PO and the SM and I continue to integrate a Lean-Agile and SAFe culture using techniques from a wide range of Lean-Agile umbrella and to stay within the simplicity of execution of these frameworks. July 2013 – December 2020
Agile Lean Advisor /Lead transformation within Québec Government My role was mainly to help managers understand "how" to integrate the basics of Agility and identify the impacts on their role. I coached teams to define "why" implement Agility according to their reality and context. My objective was to create sustainable change within ecosystems by focusing on creating value for customers and building employee skills through continuous improvement. My responsibilities were to integrate a Lean-Agile and SAFe culture using techniques from a wide range of Lean-Agile umbrella and to stay within the simplicity of execution of these frameworks. I have mentored business architects in creating their programs and epics and then, I have trained business analysts in the role of PO and how to manage a product backlog for those who aspire to take on this role.
Sept 2010 – July 2013
Agile Scrum master – Government of Quebec City
My role was to lead and to mentor several Scrum teams and then, collaborated with stakeholders to understand
“how” and “what” deliver as minimum viable product. My first target was to build highly effective and performing Agile team flow. The second one, increase the common understanding by training team members and managers to use a great practice. The other facets were to collaborate with the business analyst (PO) and coordinate products deliveries by respecting the quality assurance process, milestones, and budgets, all based on the empiricism of customer satisfaction.
FEATURED
In collaboration with colleague coaches, we have created a cognitive training journey for Product Owners and Scrum masters using Design Sprint thinking.
I have adapted several Lean-Agile positioning tools as strategic targets to support the teams of the Vice Presidency of Infrastructures and Operations in their transformation. In collaboration with colleague coaches, we have set up communities of practice at different levels of abstraction for directors (managing the system) and teams (using the system as an autonomous team). I had the chance to give several conferences on the roles and responsibilities of the Product Owner, the Scrum Master but also on topics such as the use of metrics and indicators that agile teams can use to develop continuous improvement.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
I created this "Lean-Agile Methods Architect" thinking model to enable organizations to set up strategic objectives of the implementation of enterprise methodologies. The Le.MA feeds the reflections of integration to the Lean-Agile, SAFe and DevOps (Le.A.S.D.) culture by an awareness of the risks and impacts enacted using new methodologies within an organizational functional structure based on traditional paradigms.
