Competent in General Urology, gained at Alexandria University Hospital, through my MSc Degree preparation and the rest was through my work in the Military Hospitals and some of NHS Hospitals in UK.

Later in my career I have worked as a part of multidisciplinary team composed of junior doctors and nurses, providing a comprehensive urologic service. I have been involved in training junior doctors, nurses and paramedical staff. I believe I am a good team player and I am quick to recognize the strength of my colleagues and to support their perceived weaknesses. As well, I am aware of my limitations and I know when to seek timely help from experienced colleagues. I believe I am an avid learner.

Research:

Thesis to accomplish the fulfillment of Master Degree in Urology and the subject of the thesis was:

"BLADDER CANCER IN EGYPT, IS IT CHANGING?"

Retrospective Cohort study of Bladder Cancer pathology over 10 years period

.The study concluded that mass treatment of Bilharziasis lead to change of pattern from S.C.C to T.C.C during that period.

Audit Experience:

I have good understanding of the audit cycle. I have attended audit meetings and actively participated in discussion of the standards, methodology and outcome.

Teaching:

As part of my jobs, I have enjoyed teaching medical students theoretical and practical skills including bedside teaching. I had experience in teaching English language for non-English beginners.

Other Interests:

I greatly enjoy fishing as I have done for the greater part of 30 years of my life, I used to go for a seashore fishing every weekend and for a boat fishing 4 times a year. I go every year for a full week boat trip at the Red Sea to enjoy fishing and sea life. I did the same while I was in UK, as I enjoyed Mackerel fishing so much in South UK

I am a keen Judokas and I won medals at university. I also enjoy diving and football play, now I do some jogging.

I watch movies and enjoy comedy and documentaries. I like pop music and the Beatles is my favorite group. I also enjoy jazz and going to the opera. Referees:
