Cross-functional Design review with all departments to study and discuss the performance and effectiveness of designed parts and process.

Participating in supplier review meeting to ensure their feasibility for the new design.

Root cause analysis of the failure & making the required changes to meet functional requirement.

3D Modelling based on the given 2D Detailing as per specifications in Creo 4.0

Create General Arrangement (GA) drawings for the Genset product with CG calculations.

Generation of BOM for assembly and sub-assembly drawing.

Maintaining CAD data, revision level & BOM in PLM Windchill.

Creating engineering drawing by applying GD&T Symbols and tolerances as per Cummins standards.

LEARNINGS

Learned basic concepts of design and development based on Cummins standards and to apply Geometric dimensioning and Tolerancing.

Apply basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices to assigned tasks in the design, analysis and release of products and subsystems through the product life cycle.
