Project Details - Markdown flag - Oct to Dec 2019

Pricing retail data into HANA from Raymark system.

Raymark is a legacy system used in Levis for Pricing and sales. In this project we loaded the prices and the changes in the prices for all the SKUs from Raymark DB to HANA system from 2016 to till date with tracking of the price changes and mark down flag set against the products. This mark down flag was further used in many KPIs in various reports.

Global Trade Compliance report for Trade Compliance team – Jan - Feb 2019

A WEBI report created on BO universe based on a HANA universe – report gives the details on PO and chargeback details to align with the data provided to customs for the goods received from Vendors from other countries. Created HANA views on the PO data and combined with FIGL data and VCOM (Vendor chargeback system maintained by LEVI) to display a detail report on the variances in the IR and GR quantities and the variance amounts.

BREXIT project – Nov 2018 to April 2019- Due to BREXIT there were many organizational changes in Europe business region of Levi’s - LSE. Worked on the changes to handle the impact on HANA part of the BREXIT changes – Forecast accuracy data report and Plant determination methodology were impacted highly and this was tackled by changes in the BW backend objects and HANA models.

Creation of new BODS jobs and HANA models to handle the impact on BW data that was flowing from APO and also to handle the plant determination methodology for UK and Ireland and ECOM business units.

CARTS decommission project - GTNexus implementation - Mar - June 2019

CARTS was a homegrown software used by Levis to place orders with vendors. It was an on-premise tool which was used in around 150 vendors (factories) of Levis across the Globe.

This was being replaced by GT Nexus - which was a cloud based solution for SCV (Supply chain visibility). Purchase order data for Mexico and Brazil was loaded from CARTS DB to HANA and few of the shipment data for all 5 regions were loaded from CARTS.

Since the source was being changed, had to build an entirely new ETL from GT Nexus to HANA using new BODS jobs and also changes and enhancements to existing BW objects.

QUONDA integrations with BW system - May - June 2019

QUONDA was a new tool used for Quality management. QUONDA had its own DB, data from this has to be loaded to BW for reporting. BODS was used to integrate Quonda and BW system.

Tableau was used for frontend reporting for Audit data.

Project Details – APAC SAP BI Service requests

We were managing the APAC SAP BI production system for Mondelez international.

We support 5 technologies under SAP BI umbrella – SAP BW, SAP HANA, SAP SLT, SAP BOBJ, SAP BODS.

Both Service request and Incidents were handled by our team.

I led the Service request part for APAC SAP BI team, SPOC for all CRQ related queries.

• Worked on many enhancement and development CRs in SAP BW/native HANA/BO/BODS.

Project 2: BW clean-up project 2011 - Implementation

Role – Solution Architect/Developer

This project aims to remove / eliminate unwanted, unused, inactive and incorrect objects from BW development and maintenance systems. These two systems contain orphan objects that a developer could mistakenly use or transport to Production. Refresh Maintenance system from Development system puts the maintenance path at some risk of introducing orphan / obsolete objects into Production. Following objects are Identified that are needed for cleanup to overcome situations like above.

Responsibilities:

• Manual identification of unwanted and inactive objects in BW.

• Categorizing them to important, recently used, and not used based on the last changed dates and dependencies factors.

• Deletion of the unwanted objects through programs, after confirmation from user.

• Creation of program to identify the unwanted and temporary objects.

• Creation of Program to send email to the object owners

Project 3: NABI – Day 120: Enable Integration of KO and CCE (Implementation)

Role – Developer

The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) are one of the Platinum clients of SAP, they have one of the biggest SAP architecture. The Coca-Cola Company acquired the CCE's North American Bottling Business. In this project we did an Implementation and development to integrate the HR data of CCE with TCCC (KO). The end users thus can analyze and compare the data of both KO and CCE in a single report.

Responsibilities:

• Gathering requirements from client with the aid of onsite coordinator and understanding the Business requirements and analyzing the best way to design them.

• Development of the architecture and the entire end to end flow in SAP BW like creation of Datasources for Master and transaction data, Infoobjects, Infocubes, Transformations, routines.

• Design of translation tables required to lookup while translating the CCE values to KO values and designing of DASHBOARD query in SAP BEx query designer for reporting.

Client/Employer : SHELL International Petroleum/ IBM India Private Limited

Period: Sep 2009 to Aug 2010

Role – SAP BW Developer/Support consultant

Project Details: Shell has the biggest SAP implementation. Shell had business center in many countries, for some the SAP implementation was yet to go live which was not in the near future and for some it was never going to be rolled out. Hence the GPMR project came into picture, where the management can see the reports on the overall data (SAP and Non-SAP source systems). There were many streams under this project: CMI (Credit Management Information), FPS (Fuel Pricing system), SP (Sales performance) and so on.

Responsibilities:

• Worked as a Focal Point in the team, in cluster Credit MI (Management Information) and involving, guiding the team members for resolving all the functional and all the data load issues tickets and worked on performance issues and improved Query performances by creating right aggregates.

• Have designed all the test scenarios and test scripts required to be performed during the regression test for GPMR for cluster Credit MI and FPS (Fuel pricing system)

• Performed reconciliation for different interface streams in GPMR on every month.

• I defined the reconciliation procedure and steps for all the 6 different interface streams in GPMR and created the run book.

• Work on Designing & Developing and correction of existing reports and interactive Dashboards on top of Webi reports built using Bex Queries on an OLAP Universe for FPS cluster

Project Details: Nestlé is one of the Platinum Clients for SAP. Nestle has one of the biggest Architecture in SAP having a market wise split. Nestle has implemented SAP BW under LSA architecture widely in six business areas (Finance Control, Generating Demand, Demand Supply Planning, Procure to Pay, Technical & Production) to enhance their worldwide business operations, Nestle has recently migrated to the new SAP BI 7.0 version.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in Design issues with regards to Data Load Extraction(R/3 extraction, delta handling), Attribute Change Run and overall improvement in Data Load Performance.

• Worked in migration of SAP BW 3.x environment to BI 7.0 version.

• Monitor the data loads from various source systems like R/3, CRM, SEM and APO by means of process chains and Involved in the Incident Management (Second Level Support for tickets involving Data load issues).
