Presently working as a Deputy Manager (Shift In-Charge) Operation of 4 x 300 MW Thermal Power Plant in Bharat Aluminum Company Ltd., Vedanta Group, from August 2011 to till date.

JOB PROFILE:

Knowledge & ability for safe, reliable and efficient operation of units by quick decision making & appropriate actions so as to provide optimum generation as per demand keeping the desired parameters within limit and reduction in Generation Loss during plant emergency.

Responsible for handling normal plant operations including start Ups, shut downs and Shift management and emergency plant operations such as black outs, tripping, etc

To issue work permits to maintenance departments and coordinate with them for equipment isolation and take trial run of equipment after shutdown work.

Ensure healthiness of all equipment of BTG Unit and rising of defect notifications for any defects to the concerned maintenance departments and coordinate for its rectification.

Responsible for scheduled trials and routine changeover of equipment at all locations is being done.

Simulator Training & live desk operation of 4 x 600MW at SEL, Jharsuguda, Odisha.

Familiarization and on job training of 3x660 MW Super Critical Boiler at TSPL Vedanta, Panjab

Filling of daily machine status reports and monitoring the Plant Operation report.

Well experience to manage a plant through D.C.S: Fox Boro, EMERSON, MAX DNA, HONEYWELL & SIEMENS.

Safety:

Ensuring 100% implementation of LOTO and adequate safety measures to ensure accident free operations of the plant.

Ensure a safer working environment for men and material.

CHANNEL OF REPORT:-

Preparation of detail daily, weekly and monthly generation as well as plant status report and submitting to Plant Head through proper channel

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

1. Worked as a Junior Manager (Operation) of 6 x 135 MW Thermal Power Plant

in Jindal Power Limited, Angul an ISO 9001:2000 Company, from 20 December 2010 to Aug 2011.

2. Worked as an Engineer (Shift in charge) of 2 X25 MW Thermal Power Plant with UltraTech

Cement Ltd. ISO 9001, ISO 14001 Cement Company which belongs from Aditya Birla Group

from 9th May 2008 to Dec. 2010.

3. Worked as an Engineer (Shift In charge) Operation with Corporate Ispat Alloy Limited, a group of

Jayswal NECO at Raipur C.G. from 5TH January 2007 to May 2008.

Ensuring prompt rectification of faults/breakdowns for continuous power generation.

To achieve maximum efficiency of the plant through maintaining a track in the feed water, fuel & air consumption and the steam produced.

Proper management of coal handling &ash handling system.
