Coming from a telecom/construction background, I understand the impact structurally sound software can have on productivity and customer experience. I often wondered how I could automate many of the tasks associated with those construction projects, but lacked the knowledge to design the tools needed. My transition to software development enables me to use my natural problem-solving skills to produce creative solutions for others.

A Spring Boot Web Application utilizing AWS S3 Bucket services, Spoonacular and Filestack APIs, allowing users to create virtual pantries and locate Spoonacular and user created recipes based on the contents of those pantries. My responsibilities included building models and controllers associated with the front-end recipe creation/update views. Languages used: Javascript and Java.

AdLister

A Craigslist clone that allows users to register, log in, create ads, and search existing ads. Built on the MVC paradigm, AdLister was mapped using servlets, and JSPs were used to generate HTML pages. Prepared statements were used to prevent SQL injection, and BCrypt algorithm was used to hash passwords. Languages used: Java and SQL. Weather Map
