UX/UI Engineer. Chemster, Inc., San Francisco, CA. March - December 2020.

• Implemented UX/UI designs in a React-based front-end application interface for an online cosmetics creation and e-commerce software platform, owned by a subsidiary of German-based multinational chemical producer BASF. Created individual UI components, maintained an organized component library to be used by other front-end engineers, and built custom application features on the main platform such as an image cropper tool and an interface for creating and editing projects.

• Served as a point of contact between the front-end engineering, product and design teams. Coordinated with the product and design teams to verify and validate engineering capabilities of UX designs.

• Wrote unit tests for components and features using React Testing Library and Jest, e2e tests for application processes using Cypress, and analytics code to track user interaction with the platform using Amplitude. Front-End Engineer. FriendFinder Networks, Campbell, CA. May 2016 - August 2019.

• Created, deployed and maintained multiple sites for an online dating, entertainment and social networking company. Designed custom site layouts, developed front-end applications connecting to back-end API data, and launched new affiliate brand sites.

• Troubleshooted issues with UX/UI features, implemented promotional campaigns, and updated content for existing brands.

• Projects included buildling an internal web application to track projects total hours worked for employees, adding an HTML5 option for live streaming videos, and creating custom landing pages for new user registrations. • Built the UX/UI interface for a seed-stage influencer marketing startup, which specialized in matching social media influencers with brand marketing campaigns. Created and deployed new features on a weekly basis, including new components for the company’s internal user account dashboard.

• Created features for a brand-new internal content management system that organized online articles, videos, and social media entries into different stream playlists, to be used by staff writers for one of the largest professional sports sites on the Internet.
