Title : Alexa GUI core

Project Abstract

Alexa is a virtual assistant that can be used by owners of Alexa-enabled devices for voice interaction, music playback, making to-do lists, setting alarms, playing audio books, and providing weather, traffic, sports, and other real-time information as well. We test both the device and the companion app. This companion app is applicable in iOS, Android, and kindle platform.

Devices Tested: Echo, Echo Auto, Echo Dot, Echo plus, Echo Buds, Echo Frames.

Application Tested: Amazon Alexa app

Roles &Responsibilities:

Contributed to the product launch of Amazon Echo Auto and Echo Buds

Performed sanity test to ensure build stability every day.

Logged nearly 200 issues around different platforms.

Regular follow up with developers (On shore Team) on bug fixes

Android and iOS application testing.

Involved in creating Test Scenarios, Arriving at Test Cases, Test Data and Test Case Execution

Hands on experience on functional testing, User interface, Ad-hoc testing and System testing

Project Profile 2

Title: Assisting the Blind in Reading Text

Project Abstract

The main aim of this project is to convert the text into audio by using Raspberry Pi. This project helps the Blind people to hear the text through audio with the help of Raspberry pi. Webcam is used to capture the image of the text and through raspberry Pi it converts the given text into audio, thus the blind people can hear it through headphones/earphones.
