Detailed job description and Responsibilities

•Responsible for the inspection and monitoring of all the activities related to steel structures, steel structures erections, its alignments, bolts tightening, etc

•Monitoring and inspection of structural erection.

• Inspection of structural steel installation Steel Structure and pipe rack as per approved IFC drawings.

•Raw material and incoming material inspection of the received items such (nut and bolts, washers as per ITP, Specification Codes and Standards.

•Location and elevation of structure foundation, Inspection of padding elevation and Alignment of Steel Structures.

•Performing inspection for the storage of steel structures trusses, girders, bolts, etc

•Responsible for the Pre-cast foundation FEC, FEC Shade, Fix Camera Pole, PTZ, MID system foundation and MISC foundation required for Security System Project.

•Make surveillance for ongoing activities like formwork, installation of Rebar, Anchor bolt, block out etc.

•Guide the Site staff and make sure work is going on as per project specification and drawings

•Monitor all pre-pour and post concrete activities as per project requirement like Concrete placement, curing, repairing, waterproofing etc.

•Keep liaison with the independent testing laboratory in the performance of necessary testing for Concrete works, backfilling, etc.

•Preparation and Review of quality Control Documents, Updated of Quality Documents like Test report, Material approval Documents, RFI’s log, etc.

•Responsible for the Cooling tower structure/Substation for structural works, and other different type of industrial Concrete structural work.

•Review works procedures and method statements for compliance with good work and practices.

•Monitor all pre-pour and post concrete activities as per project requirement like curing, repairing, waterproofing & backfilling etc.

•Making survey inspection for the exact location & Elevation according to drawings.

•Monitor earthworks for different works, like instrument& electrical cable trenches, Piping works, structural backfill etc.

•Keep Liaison with the independent testing laboratory in the performance of necessary test and review all test Result like ( Fresh cornet, FDT, DFT for underground & Super structures, Concrete Compressive Test, Soil & Water etc.) and make sure it documented and submitted to the client

•Make internal Preventive action report, raise nonconformance report (NCRs) and discrepancy report, when activities deviate from the project specification.

•Review corrective action recommended in non-conformance and implement at site to close the NCR as early as possible.

•Managing construction activities, steel fixing, form work installation and concrete pouring for the main Substation Building.

•Supervision of post Concrete operations.

•Supervision of fabrication & installation of formwork & rebar & concrete work and embedded items for Main substation walls.

•Inspection of concrete pouring, repairing, curing, water proofing

•Excavation, compaction, lean concrete, and installation of pre-cast boundary wall foundation and wall panels.

•Ensure the field construction organization is monitoring the Quality of the work in accordance with the approved Site Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plan (ITP’s) Method Statement.

•Ensure proper control of changes brought about by Technical Queries (TQ’s),

•Assist in the audit carried out on the constructions site organization by the Project Quality Assurance Manager.

•Verify that reported errors, flaws, or items that do not conform to specifications have been corrected and the actions taken have been correctly recorded.

•I have got different assignments from my immediate Engineer In charge like monitoring the labor force, making arrangements for Form work, cutting & bending of rebar as per requirement, Concrete Pouring activities, Paint work prior to back filling to be as per quality system and approved drawings.

•To consult with surveyor time to time for elevations and center lines of civil structures and.
