I do Planning and zoning coordination for the submissions and the designs.
As the Special Inspection Program (SIP) in PWC, I supervise a Geotechnical Engineer, P.E., Special Inspections Engineer, P.E., and an engineering assistant.
I was promoted to the Chief of Plans Review, and the SIP together; and the job required me to be Deputy to Building Official from, 07-26-2004.
I teach Building Plans Review basics, and have designed review checklists for each trade.
I teach Structural Plans Review for the state of Virginia, as an Advanced Instructor for the DHCD (Department of Housing and Community Development)

Worked as a Structural Plans Review Team member, for Commercial complex structures, as a Professional Structural Plans Reviewer. The job was conducted in Prince Georges County MD for ease of communication and customer care.

As Chief of plans review and Deputy to Building official; I have managed and supervised the Special Inspections staff from1986 to present. I was hired as Structural Engineer II, and was reclassified as an Engineer III, in 1989, after obtaining job required P.E. In addition to ordinary duties, I was promoted to higher grade and a new position which would oversee both Plans Review staff and the SIP in 2004. I have been the deputy to Building Official for the past 15 years, and have managed plans Review Branch and Special Inspections Branch as well.
Ambric Testing and Engineering, Alexandria, Virginia 1985-1986
In charge of inspection and testing of all structural components of few multi-story concrete structures that mainly included reinforcement bars, complex formworks, and supports for elevated slabs, and structural columns. Wrote daily reports, performed quantity take-offs and testing, reviewed shop drawings, and calculated daily needed concrete volume estimations.
Miller and Long Construction Company, Alexandria, Virginia 1984- 1985
Performed Layout of structures and supervised technicians to lay out for foundations and the floor reference transfers for multi-story structures. I verified and checked the structural integrity/conformance of the elevated slabs, formwork, and the reinforcing bars, before concrete placement.
Toyo Kanetsu KK Company, japan Base Joint Venture with Sahandsar Company, 1979 to 1984, Persian Gulf
I worked as a Site Engineer in the Siri Island, Persian Gulf, and as a Project Supervisor in Lavin Island, Persian Gulf. I was engaged in building the foundations for the largest oil tank reservoirs in the world, capacity one million barrels for off shore Oil Companies, and have supervised job site of more than 200 employees. The staff was citizens from Philippines, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Japan, United States, and Iran. I have been engaged in the quantity take- offs and all administrative functions at the job site; and have utilized computers in layout of the oil tank farms, related accounting and schedualing functions.
Also, as Construction Engineer (roads and bridges): Designed and erected prefabricated T- Beams for five 33–ft. long span bridge. In addition, I supervised a job site of 50 employees, performed all necessary technical work, and with the assistance of surveyors and the technicians, I have laid out 30 miles of the roadways and many bridges personally. I have managed to build 200 bridges, large and small, and total of 60 miles of roads, gravel and asphalt, all under my direct engineering and supervision.

In a joint ventured company, between Continental Telephone of USA, and Batman Corporation, I was in charge of the construction operations in Civil Engineering Department, located in Tehran-Iran. I directed and coordinated all scheduling operations for the construction of the Exchange buildings, and prepared all CCRs (certified completion reports) for payments from the project owners. I have designed all types of pre-cast concrete manholes for the telephone development program, and supervised a crew of four engineers and two technicians. I was promoted to the Operations Manager of construction within 1.5 years of employment.
