PROCEDURE HANDLED:
Radiographer who takes CT-Scan (with/ without contrast) procedures for all ages .
Performed CT-Scan procedures such as Brain, Orbits, Sinuses, Facial, Nasopharynx, Neck, Chest, Pelvis,
Whole Abdomen (Upper and Lower Abdomen)
Whole Spine (Cervical, Thoracic and Lumbar),
Upper Extremity (Shoulder, Humerus, Elbow, Forearm, Wrist and Hand),
Lower Extremity (Femur, Knee, Leg, Ankle and Foot),
CT Angiography

Takes x-ray procedures for all ages (neonatal, pediatrics, adults and geriatics) for a variety of body structures.
Performed general x-ray procedures.
Performed portable x-rays for patients in the ward.
Assists in ultrasound and special procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs section’s procedures to patients based on the received request.
2.Obtain patients cooperation and helped reduced patient anxiety by explaining procedures and establishing a comfortable environment.
3. Handles and operates machines and/or equipment properly during the conduct of the procedure.
4. Assist the Radiologist/Nurses in administering any procedure related to the section’s functions.
5. Prepares all necessary materials and supplies needed for every examination and reports any deficiency to immediate superiors to avoid delay and cancellation of procedure.
6. Conducts necessary quality assurance procedures on all images before and after taken.
7. Ensure safe, clean, and order of the section for patients’ and associates’ comfort by checking all areas prior and after the procedure.
8. Orients and train new trainees/interns in performing the procedure and the workflow of the section through proper rotation in different areas in different shifts.
9. Endorse to the incoming shift for proper information and continuous delivery of service.
10. Reports any technical and administrative problems that arise in the section by calling immediately the attention of the Section Manger.
11. Assists Radiographers of other section (X-Ray and Ultrasound) when there is no Ct-Scan patient.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs diagnostic radiological services, such as, but not limited to, the following:
1.1 Operate imaging equipment abd other devices as appropriate.
1.2 Position patients and provide immobilization as necessary.
1.3 Determine/ calculate exposure factors, process films, and evaluate radiographs for technical quality.
1.4 Practice/ apply radiation protection.
1.5 Assume care for physical and psychological needs of patients during examination and procedures.
1.6Assist physician with imaging procedures and administration of contrast media.
2. Maintain patient record as appropriate.
3. Assume responsibility for assigned are and proper care/ maintenance of equipment and accessories.
4. Provides input for equipment and supply purchase decisions.
5. Assume responsibility for portions of the quality assurance program.
6. In the absence of a supervisor, assume acting supervisory responsibility.
7. Pursue ongoing continuing prefessoinal development.
8. Highly trainable and adapts well to changes and pressure in the workplace.
9. Develop skills in dealing with different kinds of people.
10. Organized with goodtime management and prioritization skills.
