Experimental study on Increase in intensity of solar energy using concentrators and wing energy using
deflectors. (08/2019 - 11/2019)
This thesis presents an insight about increasing the intensity of solar energy system with concentrators and wind energy system with deflectors. The main aim of this project is to increase the capacity of the PV concentrators. This has been achieved by covering the PV cells with numerous concentrators like stones, alluminium foil pieces reflectors. Initially, a normal solar panel is used for collecting the solar radiation. Later, the augmented panels are used to convert the solar energy into electric energy. Then the output from these two PV cells is compared. The output is measured with help of a multimeter.
Experimental study and analysis of the Vertical axis wind turbine. (01/2020 - 04/2020)
This thesis presents an insight about increasing the intensity of wind energy system with use of vertical axis wind turbines. The main aim of this project is with the increase of the speed of the wind the rotor rotating speed also increases which in turn increases the amount of electricity produced.
