Fry’s Food Store: (Apr. 2019-Mar. 2020) Worked in the deli department. This required attention to detail, maintaining professional standards, and quality customer service. I used cooking machinery, time logs, and time management skills every shift
Projects
YouTube Channel Simplified Studying: (Feb 2020-Present) I create videos to explain common school subjects in a fast and simplified way that I would have liked when I was in school. The purpose is to approach a vast array of topics with theory and example problems for each topic. I use free video editing and screen recording programs to create these videos
Carbon Capture Plant Design: (Feb. 2019-Apr. 2020) Senior design project which required the design of a carbon capture system. The goal was to remove as much carbon from the air while being as cost effective as possible. The group decided using an absorption column of N,N dimethyl hexylamine to remove the carbon and stored said carbon through geological sequestration.
Butanol from Corn Design Project (Sept. 2018-Nov. 2018): Created a process design for a corn to butanol plant. This required 4 levels of design decisions which required factors of cost, input/output, production rate, reactor system, heat energy, and ethical issues.
Honors Thesis: (Jan. 2019-Nov. 2019) The goal was to scale up the hand-making pasta process to an industrial level and compare the two economically and feasibility by using design of experiment procedures and was used to determine an optimal process for creating the pasta. The history and chemistry of creating pasta was examined to demonstrate the importance to society
Arcosanti Grey Water Reclamation: (Aug. 2018-Dec. 2018) The goal of this project is to create a system that can transport and filter grey water and use the said water to help grow an orchard. Currently, Arcosanti has one of the largest grey water systems in the United States.
