PROJECT : DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF EPICYCLIC GEAR TRAIN

DESCRIPTION:

The Main idea of this project is to show the working of the epicyclic gear train with the application of electric current. From this working model it is easier to find the speed of the rotating gears which includes ring gear, sun gear and the planet gears based on the varying load applied. Since this epicyclic or planetary gear system is used in most of the four wheelers to obtain a variable speed.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITY :

Won 1st place in REFLECTED MAZE event conducted in RVS Padmavathy college of engineering on 8th September 2018

Won 2nd place in IPL AUCTION event conducted in Velammal engineering college on 17th February 2018.
