Major Projects Completed

–Pharm.D 5th year project “To Assess The Quality Of Life And Prevalence Of

Readmission In Myocardial Infraction Patients”

- The project was mainly aimed to assess the quality of life in patients after MI, To monitor

the ADR in MI patients and to study its management, To find the prevalence of cardiac

readmission in MI patients, To study the effect of clinical pharmacist initiated patient

counselling in medication adherence and knowledge of patients.

- An interventional study was carried out at the Cardiology Department of Lourdes Hospital,

Ernakulam over a period of 6 months.

- Data collection form was used to collect pertinent data including demographic details,

medical and medication history, social history. - Medication adherence using MORISKY

Questionnaire, ADR was assessed using modified Hartwigs Siegel assessment scale,causality

was assessed with WHO UPPSALA causality assessment, the knowledge of the patient is

assessed by using validated KAP questionnaire’s.

- Apart from this we counselled the patients and increased their awareness about the diseases,

drugs and the importance of self-care practices and dietary restrictions through patient

counseling and it was reflected during follow up

Other Projects

- Conducted Post Flood medical camp in August 2018 in association with Aster Med City

and Pharm D association.

• Ward round participation in Cardiology, Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Oncology

departments over a period of 2 months each.
