Follow the QA/QC management system at site.
Responsible for performing all aspects of piping and mechanical inspection activities with minimum supervision.
Inspection of incoming Raw Materials, consumable and review the material test certificate report along with its chemicals and physical properties.
Verify that all site activities comply with the quality codes and standards (WPS, PQR & WPQ).
Preferred knowledge in ASME sections for materials & welding, ASTM Codes for materials, British & American Standards.
Provide appropriate feedback to management regarding QA/QC matters.
Ensure supplies and external service comply with strike quality control standards.
Conduct to the Weekly Quality tool box meeting with the construction crews to resolve the technical
/ Quality issues.
Review for raw material identification such as plate, pipe, forgings, gaskets, fasteners and structural. Witness of stage wise inspection before welding as per ITP.
Preparation of documents as per ISO, ‘U’ & ‘U2’ stamp requirements.
Monitoring fabrication works as per following codes and standards.
Fit up & Dimension Inspection of Weld Joints, Nozzles, Pipe Support and Welding Inspection.
Witnessing the Pneumatic test, leak test, vacuum box test, oil chalk test.
Witness Pickling & Passivation according to QAP.
In final dimensional inspection witness all dimensions and visual points, and get the clearance to hydro test, then after blasting, painting works, nitrogen, purging.
Conduct NDT activities after PWHT as per code/ Client requirement witnessing of Hydro test.
Timely completion of paperwork and piping and mechanical turnover binder. Academic Education
