Electrostatic Precipitator maintenance includes the measuring of secondary current and voltage every hour, monitors the spark count and heaters.

Rectifier transformer maintenance includes earthing systems and control panel.

Maintenance of all motors, generator regular data and readings to ensure healthiness of equipments.

Maintenance and knowledge of DOL, Star delta Starter.

Attended VFD drive training courses for maintaining drives healthy and and online maintenance.

Maintaining all spares for electrical equipments as per requirement.

Maintenance of Siemens, INVT, ABB, Schneider & Danfoss AC Drives for up to 650KW Motor.

Unit start-up/shut down activities, synchronization of Horizontal type three phase synchronous generator with Grid and with 1010KVA Diesel generator set in power plant.

Maintaining Energy reports on daily, monthly and yearly basis for 25MW co-generation plant.

Having knowledge in Microsoft Office Excel and Power Point Presentation

Maintenance of alternator and diesel generator includes cooling systems, temperature parameters, and oil systems.

Checking and maintenance of battery parameters like specific gravity, voltage and water level.

Preventive and Breakdown Maintenance of

- HT & LT switch gear in 11KV HT, PCC & MCC Panels: Make: Siemens.

- 31.5MVA Power and 4MVA Converter Transformer & Switch Yard.

- 2x1010KVA Diesel Generator for plant start-up conditions.

Coordinating with all other departments Mechanical, Instrumentation etc, to give better and continuous production.

Line clearance and maintenance of 11KV/110KV switchyard as per safety rules.

INSPECTION AND TESTING OF ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS

Co-operating with Testing of 25MVA Transformer, Current transformer, Potential transformers, MV and LV Transformers.

Co-operating with Testing of Generator relay and control panel, Switchyard relay and control panel.

Knowledge in Numerical protection relays for electrical systems like Integrated Protection System P-343,P-631,P-442(MICOM) for generator protection, etc.,

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1.TNEB report maintenance includes,

a.CEA reports,

b.CEIG documents,

c.Monthly reading card.

2.Make arrangements once in a year for below mentioned jobs,

a.Relay testing,

b.Oil filtration of transformers,

c.Frame Budget for financial year,

3.Generation and export meter calibration.

4. Stock list maintenance which include, raise purchase requisition and contact with vendor for Purchase order follow up.

5.Send repaired equipments like motors, drives and other machines to service and follow up.

6.Conduct training every week with electricians about the performance, improvement and troubleshooting.
