Career path:

Joined as DET (Diploma Engineer Trainee) in M/s TAFE – R&D ltd and currently working as Member – R&D Testing & Evaluation. (June 2010 to Till date)

Responsibilities:

Test plan preparation and conducting test to meet SOP.

Failure reporting, root cause analysis and support test standard amendment for field failures.

Ensuring smooth and effective operation of dynamo lab test cell activities as shift in-charge.

Recording the various parameters during Engine performance trails like Variable Speed Test (VST), Lube oil consumption test, governing trials, PLPT, Cooling trials test, De-aeration test, fill rate test & temperature mapping trials and Engine endurance trials.

Planning for new facilities and resources, spares and consumables for test cell.

Responsible for calibration of test cell equipment and instruments including iASYSEDACS systems & maintenance for all the dynamometers, AVL fuel meters and smoke-meters are carried out periodically.

Supporting test fixture designing and development for engine accessories and transmission test rigs.

Verification of test results and tuning the engine before submission of tractor for certification.

Leading team of 1 engineers and 4 DETs under my supervision.

Achievements:

Optimization of cooling system by using viscous fan and plastic fans for various tractor models.

Bench-marking the performance of tractors with competitor’s tractors in dyno lab.

Lube oil consumption for various engines w.r.t different HP ranges.

Training program attended:

Orbit 3, 3.1 & 3.5 Versions (EDACS software)

Certification training at Budni – Bhopal
