Title- Pipeline Coordinator/ Construction Coordinator
Managed and operated the Natural Gas Gathering and Distribution Facility at the Sherwin Alumina Plant located outside Gregory, TX. Reported directly to the Sherwin Plant Engineering Supervisor and worked very closely with the Plant Purchasing Department.
Responsibilities included but were not limited to assure uninterrupted gas supply to the Sherwin Alumina Plant and the Gregory Power Partners Cogeneration Plant. Duties include monitoring gas volumes and adjusting rates from several gas suppliers and maintaining an open line of communications 24 hours a day with all Gas Control Centers and Plant Control Centers. Performed Maintenance, Integrity Management, Cathodic Protection, upkeep and recordkeeping for all TX RRC and DOT regulated and non-regulated Gas Facilities and Pipelines Systems.
Implemented and maintained all regulatory compliance issues, was accountable for all gas measurement, billing and month end balances. Solicited bids, hired and supervised all third party contractors for maintenance and construction.
Non-Gas related duties included Construction Coordinator/Project Manager for the Plant Engineering Department. Contract Coordinator for SAC Contractors. Also managed, operated and maintained the Potable Water Facility and System at Sherwin Plant.
1997 (Oct) – 1998(March) – Grasso Production Management
Contracted full time to Sherwin/ Reynolds Oil and Gas Division. Currently responsible to assure uninterrupted gas supply to the Reynolds Metals Co. Sherwin Plant located at Ingleside, TX. Duties include monitoring as volumes and adjusting rates from several gas suppliers, maintain an open line of communication 24 hrs. a day to the Powerhouse, maintenance and upkeep of all Oil and Gas properties located inside and outside of the plant
1992-1997 (Oct) – Grasso Production Management
Contract part time to Sherwin/ Reynolds Oil and Gas. When not working offshore, I was on call during the weekends to assure uninterrupted gas supply to the Sherwin/ Reynolds Metals Co. Sherwin Plant. Filled in full time whenever necessary for the Oil and Gas Engineer.
1996-1997 (Oct) – Grasso Production Management
Contracted to Amoco Production. Was lead operator for Amoco on several offshore drilling rigs to maintain their Simultaneous Operation Procedures during production and drilling of 4 wells in the OCS of the Gulf of Mexico. Drilling operations were performed by the Rowan Charles, Rowan Middletown and the John Sandifer
1996-1996 – Operators and Consulting Services, Inc.
Worked six (6) months contracted to Enron Oil and Gas on M.U. 759 Offshore Production Facility as the lead operator. Performed repair and preventive maintenance on all production equipment, generator equipment, control panels, compressor equipment, glycol units as well as smoke, fire and gas detection. Duties include Well Testing, MMS Testing, Crane Operations, preparation of platform reports and maintain U.S. Coast Guard Regulations and Policies
1993-1996 – Amerada Hess Corp.
Operator for Amerada Hess Corp. Responsibilities included maintaining Amerada Hess Operating Procedures, MMS and U.S. Coast Guard Regulations and Policies. Duties included Well Testing, Housekeeping, MMS Testing, Crane Operations, and preparation of platform reports and paperwork. Improved skills at troubleshooting and problem solving due to the number of platforms operated from the M.U. 85A field. Supervised 3rd Party inspections and work projects. Worked with Wire line Operations (slick line & electric line), coil tubing Units and simultaneously (drilling) operations
