• Working as Supplier Quality assurance engineer Army vehicles at Ashok Leyland Defence Systems. Since OCT -2017 to TILL NOW

Roles & Responsibility:

• Supplier capability analysis audit.

• First Sample inspection with Process study sample approval.

• Casting and Forging parts proto inspection CMM and Radiography inspection, As per Standard

• Sheet metal parts (Cabin, Load body, armoured bus) Welding inspection as per AL:276.02& IS 2102, IS 813

• Problem solving analysis issues with a logical and methodical approach (5Why, Cause/Effect Diagram).

• Execute the supplier quality audit program and follow up on supplier audit NC points to close.

• Work with suppliers to improve product and process quality through onsite workshops, development of PFMEAs / Control Plans, and assist with correlations studies and inspection plans.

• Handling customer complaints Perform Failure Analysis and coordinate return/complaint resolution.

• Handling of 3 Projects with total 450parts in each project (Casting and Forging, Sheet metal).

• Process Audit and improve fixture with poke yoke.

• Supplier training program (JDI, B2B, Instrumentation handling training).

• Customer coordinator for vehicle inspection with government officials (VQAW, DGQA, CRPF, J&K police).

• Supplier Quality standard improvement with Implementing various stages and check sheets. Projects handled:

• ATT – (Armoured Troops transporter) Bus.

• MBPV – Medium bullet proof vehicles (J&K Police, Punjab Police, CRPF).

• MPV – Mine protected vehicles.

• MBRL, HMV, 10X10,8X8,6X6, FAT Various Defence vehicles

• CFT member for Armoured vehicles & Special projects. Project Achievements:

• 8 Supplier and Audit completed.

• Worked as Engineer in New product development at STS Manufacturing pvt ltd. 2014 Aug to 2015 Jun.

• Handling New product development to Defence vehicle

• Developing the blank structure of component.
