I perform Fire Fighting duties while the vessel is undergoing Vertrep Maneuver which consist of Vertical replenishment, or VERTREP is a method off supply of seaborne vessels by helicopter. The United States Department of Defense defines VERTREP as: ...the transfer of cargo between ships using helicopters. VERTREP is often used to supplement connected replenishment, and to ensure each crew member 's safety while protecting US GOV. properties etc.
