TITLE DESCRIPTION APPLICATION
Design Analysis Fabricaton of
Semi-electrical type of leaf spring
using composite material.
In our project, we evaluate the
suitability of composite leaf springs
of passenger cars.This helps in
The weight reduction of
automobile that results in better
riding performance of the
vehicle.In this project we
designed the composite leaf
spring by analyzing using 3-D
finite method as a part of product
evaluation process.Therefore
composite leaf spring are lighter
and more economical and it can
be replaced the conventional
steel leaf spring without the
compromise in strength.
• A heat spring is a simple
form of spring commonly
used for suspension in
wheeled vehicles.
• This sometimes used as a
carriagespring or semi
electrical spring or cart
spring.
• It is light-weight and
hence it is very useful in
heavy load vehiclesfor
suspension.
• It is useful to serve in
locating some extend
damping and springing
function.
INDUSTRIAL EXPOSURE :
• Participated in one day training at Thermal power station in North Chennai to learn about how thermal power is generated and how it is utilized in day-to-day life.
• Participated in one day training at Jeppiaar steel factory in Echoor to know about the production and manufacturing of steel.
