I was hired to lead the company’s 2019 campaign for L'Oréal’s Matrix brand, an endeavor they take part in annually. I was given the opportunity to be a fully autonomous piece of a larger machine for the first time - my responsibilities included ingestion, breakdown, logging, assembly, fine-tuning, motion graphics, scoring, grading, and finalizing each piece for delivery. Projects included sizzle reels, promotional material (web, social media, and broadcast), educational material, in-store displays, and much more. Our other clients included Panda Express, Sanrio (of Hello Kitty fame), Voluspa, and a menagerie of other businesses in the city that we collaborated with regularly. I was assistant editor for season three of the Adult Swim show Mr. Pickles. One of my most formative experiences as a professional; this is where my habits as an assistant as well as an editor were developed and strengthened. I learned to work neatly, quickly, e ectively, and in synchronization with a team.
