ACADEMIC PROJECT UNDERTAKEN:

o ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF G+7 RESIDENTIAL BUILDING

- Design of Residential Building had done as per IS: 456-2000, SP-16 etc. Here Building Bye Laws are used as per Haldia Municipality. Architectural Plan had done with help of auto cad.

- Under Supervision of “Ajit Kumar Paria’ (Asst. Professor), Civil Engineering Department, HIT Haldia.

- Carried out in group of two members.

- This project carried out during period from Feb 2017 to May 2017. o SEISMIC ANALYSIS OF OVERHEAD WATER TANK

- Analysis and design practice adopted in India and some other countries has been reviewed. Response structure method has been used in seismic analysis of a structure. Parametric studies have been carried out based on various types of soil, zones, and tank conditions. The bracing system of an elevated tank is constituted by the set of resistive elements ensuring its rigidity and stability to the horizontal forces caused by the earthquake.

- Under Supervision Prof. SOUGATO PAL(ASSOCIATE PROF.), Department of Civil Engineering, IIEST, Shibpur.

- I was part of team in this project.

- During period from Aug 2019 to Dec 2019.

o VIBRATION ISOLATION UNDER PULSE EXCITATION

- Different isolators are used to isolate building from explosion or near-fault earthquake.

- Structure responses against different impulse loads and Near-fault earthquake.

- Variation of structure response under impulse load due to variation of natural period.

- Under Supervision Aparna (Dey) Ghosh, Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur.

- During period from Jan 2020 to present.

- I am working alone on this project.
