Skilled legal manager with a combined legal and business education obtained in Europe, Asia and the USA experienced in regional positions at multinational pharmaceutical and automotive companies as well as a top-tier global law firm. After graduation joined international law firm Hogan Lovells taking gradually expanding responsibilities within transactions and contract negotiation team, at the latest overseeing a team of five paralegals and one junior lawyer. After passing a bar exam stayed with the firm till Prague office closure and afterwards immediately moved to work as a sole practitioner and study LL.M. program at the most prestigious Chinese law school in Beijing (as a culmination of his interest in Asian markets and to differentiate himself from many colleagues seeking post-graduate education in the West). After successfully finishing the program, joined a US multinational pharmaceutical company Biogen thanks to previous pharma experience. At Biogen working as a legal manager on regional matters in APAC, MENA and CEE. Later advising an automotive leading company Volkswagen Group China on compliance matters related to its monitorship program imposed by the US government. Afterwards moved to take a regional compliance role at one of the world’s biggest car parts manufacturer Continental to co-manage compliance matters in APAC (covering Singapore, Malaysia, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Korea, Japan and Australia).
