To whom it may concern,
I’m a hard working individual seeking employment that will mutually benefit my employer and me. I like to learn new things while bringing my strengths to the table such as attention to detail and great leadership.
In my enclosed resume you will refer to my extensive rig experience in the oil and gas industry. As a quick learner with broad knowledge, roles are assigned to me for training and teamwork efficiency. During this 17 year career I work hands on with multiple power tools, rig equipment, maintenance procedures, while sustaining extreme weather conditions. Acquiring my air brakes license allows me to drive large scale vehicles such as 50,000kg rigs and pump trucks. Along with this manual labor comes the associated paperwork such as completing safety records and volume calculations.
The skills I obtained from managing service rigs have transferred into my seasonal occupations. I’m experienced in the construction business where I operate bobcats, loaders, D6, D8, and forklifts. During my roofing duties I operate skid steers and genie lifts. My ability to lift 100lbs throughout the day is enjoyable. I continue my safety and operator education by keeping my tickets up to date. During my new Position with my employer I will be attending Norquest collage online programming to upgrade some high school classes . Once successfully I have achieved the upgrade I plan on attending Nait for a 4 class power engineering with steam online course. All these courses will be done on my time. The online courses allow people like myself to do these at your own pace.
I work well individually; able to handle a wide range of tasks with little direction. I also work well as a team; develop networks easily with my personable attitude. I take pride in my work, and although cliché, not afraid to get my hands dirty.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if further information is required. I look forward in hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Malcolm Peacock
