Product : New Intel Mobile and Gadgets

Description:

In this project validation booting process, validation ISH and IPU for the products like Laptops and Mobile devices. This validation is under the Pre-Silicon validation process. Sensor testing. Type –C module testing, Integrated Sensor Hub testing.

Work well with mainline, sustenance projects owning components and thus requiring less supervision.

Roles &Responsibility:

Sanity test new builds, creation craft every week and report Lead.

Preparation of status report every day and send to all the manager.

Executes tests using manual/automated tools.

Execution of test cases using the Python scripts.

Coordination with Development team and support to debugging team.

Perform debugging and troubleshooting in variety of local, remote testing environments, product and address the same.

Description:

This is one of the popular consumer electronics i.e IPTV enhanced with almost all advanced features in it. It is one stop shop for consumer to get best entertainment. This an embedded system project and it is all about the testing of the android based smart TV operating system. This embedded system has capacity to support up to 16 external devices, single control units enough to control the 16 devices. It is android TV with famous app like Netflix, 500px, Opera browser, you tube, Google APP incorporates different types of data sharing technology. We receive prototype future smart TV hardware’s from the client in which we flash the latest android OS package using log board, tera term and flash tool. Various functionality of the smart TV is tested using different equipments and tools. Several equipments like smart cam, smart dvd, smart phones, signal generators are used to simulate the actual user environment and then the software is tested to find the maximum number of defects.

Responsibilities:

• Performed various testing like Functional testing, Integration testing, smoke testing, system testing, Basic Integration testing (BIT).

Executed Test Cases from Check Sheets.

Involved in Defects Tracking through Jira.

Understanding the Requirements and Functional Specifications of the application from spec.

Conducted Retesting on every modified Software Build to close Defects.

Verified card list, pass ratio of modified check sheets.

For tracking the defect life cycle jira tool is used. For registering a bug in jira logs need to be taken for which ABD bundle, Tera Term tools are used. So far we have tested the smart TV OS based on Android L(Lolipop) and Android M(Marshmallow)

Project 3 : Bharath Electronics Ltd Bangalore

Project Name : Ethernet Media Secrecy Device (CAN based)

One Year experience as a contract Trainee Engineer in Bharath Electronics Ltd. Bangalore.

Worked on circuit analysis and testing of the PCB boards. Device Testing and Navigation application testing.

Have knowledge on Ethernet Media Secrecy Device (EMSD): BST project is a full duplex encryption unit for deployment on an Ethernet based data communication n/w providing security of Ethernet packet on LAN access n/w over wireless media b/w Wi-Max element of CAN.This algorithm is widely used in Defense applications of Indian Air Force.

Project 4 :

Project Name : Navigation Device Testing

This device is mainly used in the field of defense and army areas to navigate/locate the base stations and military vehicles. This device has small display with an application installed in it. This is used by the army person to know the details about the base stating location in the military areas. This device will GPS for the data transfer.
