For the past 9 years I have been the senior technical resource for the Software Department of i360 LLC, acting as the Technical Director for the last 5 years. In this capacity I led the department in the creation of industry leading web and mobile applications. Guiding multiple teams of developers, testers, and product managers, we built cutting edge applications and massive databases to bring game changing advantages in achieving our clients’ objectives. Over the last few years, I drove the department’s efforts to move our products into the AWS cloud.

Before entering the IT profession, I was a corporate attorney, chief operating officer and university faculty member. From the beginning of my IT career, I have concentrated on database technologies as foundational. Over the last 20 years, I have gained substantial expertise in the area of cloud- based, multitiered web development, primarily using the .Net stack. This role required me to design and develop a number of large web applications and their associated databases as well as the related mobile applications, while at the same time building out first tier full spectrum technical teams from scratch. Initially the work was primarily MS SQL Server and ASP.NET with on-prem servers. Over the past few years, I transitioned the technology towards a full AWS cloud environment, making use of Razor and Angular for the front end, dockerized Fargate, EC2 and S3 instances for the middle tiers and AWS Aurora Postgres as the main persistence layer. This process was supported with various third-party technologies, such as Harness, Azure Dev-Ops, and Datadog.

Technical Director/Data Architect for Team-Tech Enterprise (1990 - 2013) In this position I led teams ranging in size from 2 to 75. I have designed and coded numerous databases and application using:
