EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Queens University Belfast (2012 to 2013) – MSc Construction & Project Management
(with Commendation)
QUB is one of the UK’s leading research-intensive universities which is represented by The Russell Group.
I have completed a master’s degree in Construction and Project Management. The course consisted of numerous modules that encouraged the development of management skills, and a broad range of modules including Procurement and Contract Administration, Project Economics and Financing, Project Planning and Control, Construction Law, Facilities Management and International Construction. My dissertation focused on the implementation of BIM as a business development strategy. It was determined that the best practices for the use of BIM technology includes leveraging the current capabilities of BIM through education and integration of the project team and moving forward with this new process with an open mind, as a resistance to change is considered to be one of the challenges associated with the implementation of BIM within the industry.
Queens University Belfast (2009 to 2012) – BEng Civil Engineering (Hons) I have completed a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering. The Course consisted of Design, Structures, Highways and Traffic Engineering, Hydraulics, Geotechnics, Water and Wastewater Treatment, Engineering Geology, Engineering Hydrology, and Surveying.
My dissertation was titled the 'Assessment of coastal processes and sediment transport in Crawfordsburn Beach, Belfast Lough.' The objective was to identify and assess the typical sediment and morphological types in the bay and to obtain baseline information of historic works, changes in coastline and ongoing protection works.
