Work Experience
Game Store, Clearwater Mall
I worked at Game Store as an assistant in the S.B.M department for three weeks (14th of November to 2nd of December, 2016). Through this experience, I had an opportunity to learn more about electronics and various functionalities.
Cape Union Mart, Clearwater Mall
I worked at Cape Union Mart for two months and half (5th of December 2016 to 13th of February, 2017) as a sales assistant in the footwear department and also the store as a whole. Through this experience, I learned more about different kinds of footwear, technical clothing and also small gadgets, for instance: GoPro, fitness watches, binoculars, walkie talkie and GPS
Tread and Miller, Clearwater Mall
I worked at Tread and Miller for two weeks as a sales assistant due to them being short staffed because my manager at Cape Union Mart had allowed me to assist them within that period as both stores are under one company holder. Through this experience I learned more about the perfection of shoes, treatment and also how to assist customers to match their formal and casual wear well.
Pathways Roodepoort (NGO)
In 2018, I was required to do a campaign plan on raising awareness about people who live with disabilities for Pathways Roodepoort. The campaign was time based (3 months) to ensure that awareness is raised through an event which we created for Pathways Roodepoort.
Monash South Africa
In 2019, I worked as a peer collaborator (mentor) whereby I was helping Foundation Programme students with empowerment, learning skills and improving their knowledge. The peer collaborator duration was a 6 months based contract.
