Project: Metro Bank ODS Migration Duration: (Jan 2018 – Mar 2020)

Description:

Migration project involving multiple upgrades - core T24 banking platform (R9 to R16), upgrade on the database version (Oracle 11g to Oracle 12c) and upgrade on their ETL toolset (DataStage to ODI).

Responsibilities:

Designed automated file loading framework for loans and mortgages into the operational data store using ODI packages.

Updated the ETL Dictionary, DDL & DML scripts associated with the T24 Upgrade R9 to R16.

Migrated the Datastage ETL processing to ELT using ODI.

Developed Delta loading packages in ODI to support batch processing.

Worked on metadata capture of the ETL process using ODI and PL/SQL to drive real-time APEX dashboards and reports.

Generated account summary XML reports with the help of PL/SQL packages and ODI KM’s.

Worked with PL/SQL packages and procedures to provide data in JSON format to ORDS endpoints for external API calls.
